Fire Sharing Provisioning and Usage
Overview
This article provides a guide to provisioning the File Sharing Service within the Atria Platform. Ensure that you have configured and deployed the service via the deployment guide.
Provision the File Sharing Service
1. Provision the File Sharing Service to Resellers

From the Atria menu bar, click Customers and select the top level (Service Provider) customer.

Under Customer Functions, select Services:

From the services list, select Reseller for the desired location.

Tick the File Sharing checkbox and expand the window:

In the User Plan table, enable the user access options that you like to be available. These can be customized at customer level.

Under Resource Configuration, set a Disk Limit if possible.

Click Apply Changes.

Click Provision to enable the service.

2. Provision the File Sharing Service to Customers

From the Atria menu bar, click Customers > Customer Services.

Use Customer Search to find the customer.

Select File Sharing from the services list.

In Customer Plan, select a plan if multiple are available.

Under File Sharing Service Configuration, select a server if multiple are available.

Adjust Disk Limit if applicable.

Under Advanced Settings:
- Configure User Plans.
- Set Maximum Users limit.
- Enable or disable Billing.

Click Provision.

Managing Folders and Permissions
Creating Subfolders
- Navigate:
Services > File Sharing Manager
- Select parent folder.
- Enter name in New Directory.
- Click Create.
Assigning Permissions
- Navigate:
Services > File Sharing Manager
- Select folder, then open Permissions tab.
- Search and add users/groups.
- Select users/groups, click Manage Permissions.
- Set desired permissions, click Save.
To restrict permissions to only the selected folder, clear the option Apply permissions to subfolders and files.
