Policy Editor

Overview

The Policy concept is available from Atria v15.23. Policies allow settings and configuration to be defined and used by multiple customers.

warning

Changes to policy have the potential to impact the operation of the Atria System, please proceed with caution.

The Policy Editor is accessed by the Configuration page.

Inheritence

Each policy mapped to a customer can have an inheritence setting applied:

  1. Self - Applies only to the customer that the Policy is created against
  2. Child - Applies only to sub-customers of the customer the policy is tied to
  3. Child + Self - Applies to both the Customer mapped to the policy and it's sub-customers.

The policy for any particular customer is a combination of the policy inherited from parent customers, overridden by any configuration applied directly to that customer.

Policy Types

Policy types apply to different parts of the Atria system.
