Enable Send on Behalf in Mailbox Rights in Hosted Exchange

Overview

This article describes how to add the Send on Behalf permission in Mailbox Rights within the Hosted Exchange Service.

Requirements

  1. Familiarity with Hosted Exchange and the provisioning process.
  2. Hosted Exchange service provisioned to Customers and Users.
  3. 3 custom PowerShell scripts needs to be downloaded on the Exchange Web Server.

Instructions

  1. Download the attached PowerShell script files and place on your Exchange Server where the Atria Web Services are installed.

  2. Navigate to:

C:\inetpub\Automate101\Atria\Atria Web Services\Exchange\Scripts
  1. Create a new folder and name it Custom. Copy the downloaded files into the new folder.

Please note that it is important to name the folder Custom.

Exchange Send on Behalf
  1. In the Atria portal, navigate to the Configuration menu, select Content Management > Content Translation > Services/HE/UserSetup/UserMBPermissions, then update the default information as follows:

Alternatively, you can select the Hosted Exchange service for the user and click on Content Management at the bottom of the page:

Once you update the page, you can navigate to the user’s Hosted Exchange service, click on Mailbox Rights, and view, add, and remove the Send On Behalf as well as the Full Access and Send-As Permissions.
